Mother-In -Law Get Well Decorated Letter

I have been really busy between helping my Hubby recoup from knee-surgery for 2 weeks and visiting my Mother-In-Law in hospital. So in my spare moments of the day...I would craft.

Here is a Plaque I put to gether for her...I ran out of Letters...so Ingenious Crafter (me) created the letter from 3 different cardboard square cut-outs ....then glued them together and sanded them smooth on the edges all around giving the appearance of a chipboard letter...then I gesso and sanded it again....(the Letter D for her first name Doreen.)...I used QVC-Dawn Bibby....All Occassions print paper .....along with some embellishment letters from the kit. The Plaque turned out lovlier than I imagined. I am so proud of myself...as this is my first Letter Craft I have created handmade literally in every step from meer basic materials...
