GRANNY'S GREETING CARD

Here I am gain..this time wanting to share with you a darling Greeting Card with a Tea Theme. I have made pockets in front and inserted two Tea Bags covered with coordinated print paper. On the inside there is a perfume bottle/buttons and behind that... is another compartment of which I have stashed a precious letter. I LOVE and ADORE my Grandmother with my whole heart. It's nice to hear her voice on the telly phone and writing letters...and making greeting cards for her....but oh what I would give to sit and have a cup of tea with Granny! So I have done the next best thing. I truly hopes she likes it...as I am sure she will. It was a joy creating this Greeting Card for GRANNY!

TEA CACHET

I tried a KIT from www.alteredpages.com
This kit is fairly easy enough ...I was supplied with Images and card stock,
silk petal flowers and brads and a ribbon along with instructions.
It was most exciting to see if my project would come out as close to the original.
I added my own embellishments along the way...and inside are tea bag coverlets to hold your tea bag.. There are 4 pocket sections so you have 4 teabags available whenever you choose...... to enjoy a cup of tea on the go. I love the Victorian theme!

Craft Room Index Book

They say..out of need...comes the Mother of Invention.
Here's my creative invention..a book journal to be used for indexing my craft items in and around my desk..so I won't have to fuss through every jar, drawer, cabinet, or canister to find what I am seeking.
I used Bohemian print paper..with some brass finds to highlight and adorn the cover and the ribbon border.
I found a cluster of beads on a ring...so I placed it beneath the thinking woman....
which speaks volumes of what I look like trying to figure out where I may have misplaced an embellishment or such. The journal index opens up to some scratch paper pieces in white...I have utilized rather than throw out.
It took me 45 minutes to make..this includes designing,gathering materials, cutting, gluing and embellishing. It's simply nice to get back into the swing of things!

White beaded key ring/Book mark

I indulged myself one evening a few months ago and decided to create a White beaded key ring.
I wasn't sure of what I wanted...so I gathered a few white pearl beads and some brass charms and brass jump rings, plus the brass key ring round and went to work.
As the key ring took form..I felt it would be a nice book mark too...so I attached a shepherds book mark in brass. Until I decide for sure ...which I will utilize them for .....they will be attached together....Funny Huh?
or just plain indecisive...lol,lol What do you Think?

altered Clip board

Last night...I completed my Clip Board that will match my... Altered Keepsake Box(which I will upload soon). Once again I utilized my scraps and odd pieces of embellishments. I barely had enough of the Crown print paper..so I fitted it to the Clip Board as best possible...I placed gold hearts made with gold gel pen in the center of the brown crowns.. Now the bottom portion of the print paper it is black with light brown and yellow-gold flowers throughout the paper...all in all this clip-board came out rather nice. I added a grunge board Key... painted in pink and highlighted with a gold gel pen..then wrapped fibers and ribbons adorned with charms and gems to the key. I proceeded to add gemstones on the... paper holder clip and adorned each side with a pinkish petal flowers. I used game board disk to cover the crown cut-outs at the bottom and accented each with a few sequins above.. In the exact middle bottom I have placed an 2009 Calendar....border is decorated with purplish yarn strands. Lastly..I punched out some starry flowers and place them across the mid-middle. Once again...I stunned myself!

Scissor Pouches!

Well, finally I completed my set of Scissor Pouches...made with print paper scraps and lace trimmings..I now have something to keep my scissors handy. Small one for my embroidery scissors, the medium for my general work scissors..maybe, I'll make a large one for my zig-zag scissors I use for sewing....That size will be an extra large..I'm Sure!

Eyeglass Holder

Here is one of the said Items ...I would upload..that was created a few months ago...
I love this arrangement of beads!...It took me 30 minutes to make.
