Love is........

Here's my latest ATC creation. I made this one while watching Big Brother's 9 on the telly(smile)

Sew Happy!

I just have to share with you..the most wonderful surprise I received the other day.

My Hubby , David, came home with a Brother Digital Sewing Machine. I am quite thrilled as I have been wanting one to make some vintage styled blouses, cloth dolls, and sewing borders and designs on my ATC Cards. My world for my cloth dolls is beginnning to open up now...there are so many online cloth doll courses I am anxious to participate in.

I have been browsing over vintage patterns... for blouses ......as I want to create from old patterns and add with new style patterns to achieve an Altered Art Couture look.

I must say I have been busy keeping my mind busy . It helps me become a brave soul to fight against depression from suffering with chronic pain in my lower back and legs fromDegenerative Arthritis.... of the lower lumbar region.

My Dr.'s encourage me to keep active with my crafting..it's therapeutic and brings a smile to my face when I'm down .

It's wonderful to share with others ....the goings-on in my life. I have so many nice crafters for friends since I became a member with Art chix Studio and Leonie Pujol's ATC club. The emails from my new friends are so inspiring/encouraging .....and the wonderful comments of my work are appreciated.
I love exchanging giftees with ATCs and craft swaps.
Well I must get back to practicing drawing faces and make some more ATC's to send to craft traders . I have a few crafty ladies I trade with every month.

So I Must get busy.

By for now,

Charline

HOPE JONES VISIT

Here are the gorgeous ATC's that Hope Jones made for me as a gift...PLUS a Veggie bag filled with vegetable goodies like Marrow(summer squash), gerkhin, garlic, carrots, tomatos and garden peas. Hmmmmm good!

On july 22, Hope Jones and I had the most wonderful visit. Hope is from America... she is getting married in September. It was onderful hearing her Wedding Plans.
We talked for hours about everything from A-Z. There was so much to catch up on in America and It was nice being able to share some of the lovely spots of England my husband David and I have travelled to since I came here in 2004.
We ate teacakes, cookies and hot tea. We exchanged gifts. This was the Welcome to england gift accordian book I made for Hope.
